Their physical attributes tend to vary according to vary according to region. For instance, aes sidhe from the northern regions for-osna ul úir usually have fair complexions; light colored eyes, and blond, red, or light golden brown hair. As one travels more southerly down the continent features tend to darken from olive to ebony tones. However, these attributes do vary especially since the Parthian Empire came into power and connected once isolated regions of the continent.
Disposition: The aes sidhe tend to be somewhat haughty secluding themselves into clans and families of their own. However, other aes sidhe get along well with other races such as the dyn, bachod, and menezfólk. Aes sidhe are well-known for their wisdom and knowledge of the earth but if they are aware of such things they are less likely to dispense it to strangers. They are slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them.
Relations: Tend to have similar cultural traits to the other races living in their region. It is believed that the aes sidhe and the dyn share a common ancestor, as well as sharing a common ancestor with the bachod and menezfolk. There is no real racism among the Tel'avara and/or the Tel'otah.
Religion: There is no standard aes sidhe religion but they tend to subscribe to the religion of their ancestors, a religion similar to what the dyn now practice. Eteos, the king god, is found most commonly throughout the different regions.
Strengths: Aes sidhe can go days without eating or drinking and they do not tired easily during rigorous activity. They are also not as susceptible to harsh environmental conditions such as extreme cold or heat.
Weaknesses: Aes sidhe are not as strong as some other races and must rely on swiftness and wit. They also can be afflicted by vampirism and lycanthropism.
Organizations: Hwyliog llaw (Silver Hand), Golau-leuad tylwyth (the Moonlight Clan)
General
Name: Daoi-sith
Life span: 360 years
Age status: Child, Teenager, Adult
Average height: 4'9-5'4
Average build: Slim to curvy
Family structure: Nuclear
Language(s): Halen (Common), Diffuant Iaith, Tywyll llafar (Daoi-sith speak this more commonly).
Description
Physical: Daoi-sith tend to be much shorter than their aes sidhe brethren due to the fact that they live in subterranean environments where it is beneficial to be small. They tend to have dark obsidian colored skin with brilliant white hair. They all born with light brown to dark brown eyes; however, many choose to modify they bodies and turn their eyes a dark red blood color. Occasionally, a daoi-sith will be born with light olive colored skin and light brown hair. These daoi-sith are usually killed at birth or else they become pariahs of their community for their entire live. They are known as shu sith, an extremely derogatory word directed toward those who are half daoi-sith or those who do not truly look like a daoi-sith most commonly would. It must also be noted that male daoi-sith are smaller than female daoi-sith as well as weaker physically.
Disposition: Daoi-sith are known for their malicious tendencies and conniving natures. They are not purely evil as most say; however, they are a society that values deception as well as power. Living life among the daoi-sith is not easy and despite their long lives it is quite common for a daoi-sith to be murderer by a rival at a young age rather than die due to age related illnesses.
Relations: Somewhat amicable with the aes sidhe, dyn, bachod, and menezfolk and share a common ancestor with them. Younger daoi-sith tend to have a more progressive view of these other sub-groups occasionally living temporarily on the surface with them, where as, older daoi-sith are found to be set in their ways and will have nothing to do with those who dwell on the surface. Daoi-sith tend to keep more to themselves and live in monocultures when compared with the other Tel'avara races and the Tel'otah which are often found living amongst each other.
Religion: Daoi-sith worship Aes the goddess of war, death, ravens, fertility, and fate. However, they also worship other demi-gods that are too countless to mention here. Those daoi-sith/half daoi-sith which are ostracized for the community most often turn worship of Parthian gods such as Nerra, Chole, Ierae and others.
Strengths: Daoi-sith are quite stealthy and they are very nimble when it comes to quick silent movements. Daoi-sith have incredibly strong grips and it is said that when a daoi-sith gets you in its grasp you will never break free. Daoi-sith can also see in very dark conditions while they also have highly attuned hearing.
Weaknesses: Daoi-sith are extremely vulnerable to light and while they may be able to sustain themselves in it for a while they must always retreat back into the shadows. Nevertheless, immunity to the sunlight’s affects may be built up over the years. They can be afflicted by vampirism and lycanthropism.
